Be it deep sea, ski-boat, paddle-ski, kite, saltwater fly, rock, surf, estuary, or even fresh water bass, the KZN South Coast is a fisherman’s paradise.
Summer brings King Mackerel (locally called ‘Couta), Dorado, Kingfish and hard-fighting flatfish such as Sandsharks and a variety of Rays. In winter – particularly during our spectacular annual Sardine Run – you’ll cross hooks with a wide variety of gamefish
From the largest to the smallest. These include Shad, Garrick and Sharks that hunt all that moves along the Sardine Run.
Estuaries and river mouths also afford exciting catches, particularly during summer and on light tackle.
